Its sleek and succinct digital display is coupled with advanced circuitry that allows for unprecedented compatibility with a huge range of battery sizes and chemistry types. Each one is separately controlled by the Digicharger's micro-computer so a variety of batteries can be charged simultaneously. The charger will automatically detect the cell's voltage and chemistry and apply the optimal charging mode.

The Nitecore D2 Intellicharge charger is a two channel charger. Its sleek and succinct digital display is coupled with advanced circuitry that allows for unprecedented compatibility with a huge range of battery sizes and chemistry types. Each one is separately controlled by the Digicharger's micro-computer so a variety of batteries can be charged simultaneously. The charger will automatically detect the cell's voltage and chemistry and apply the optimal charging mode. The Digicharger will charge almost any cylindrical rechargeable cell whether it's Li-ion, IMR, Ni-MH, Ni-CD, or LiFePO4 (LiFePO4 batteries require the charge mode to be set manually). An automatic power-off function will terminate current when charging is complete. On top of this charger's incredible universality, it also includes a comprehensive display to keep you in the loop. The crystalline LCD display presents charging progress, battery type, voltage, charging current, and charging time in an easy-to-read and ultra-clear manner. When charging is finished the display will tell you which channel is ready to go.

Optimal Design for Ni-MH/Ni-Cd Batteries: the -dV/dt charging program detects battery status and determines the appropriate charging and termination voltage. This feature offers maximum power without the risk of overcharging.
Revolutionary Upgrade for IMR Batteries: with extremely low internal resistance, IMR batteries may be overcharged when charged in regular Li-ion battery chargers, leading to safety issues. To address this problem, the D2 incorporates an optimized IMR charging system that is able to monitor the entire charging process, ensuring end voltage is always within safe limits which ultimately helps extend battery life.
Optimized for Small Capacity Batteries: batteries of small capacity (such as 10440, 16340, and AA) can easily overheat, have shortened lifespan, or develop safety issues when they are powered by regular chargers due to excessive charging current. To address this issue, Nitecore introduces the low current charging program for small capacity batteries.
The highly visible and intuitive crystalline LCD display on the sleek black surface presents the charging process, battery typee, voltage, and more in high contrast black and white.
